Alexandra began violin lessons in New Zealand in 1996. In 2006 she moved to London where she has been very active both as a soloist and a chamber musician, performing in many prestigious venues and being broadcast on BBC Radio 3. She has studied at the Purcell School of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music where she is an RCM Lark Scholar supported by a Leverhulme Postgraduate Studentship and also by an award from the Countess of Munster Trust and the Martin Music Scholarship Fund.

British pianist Dina Duisen was born into a family of musicians in Almaty, Kazakhstan. At the age of five, Dina started studying piano at Kulyash Bayseitova State Special School for Gifted Children together with her two brothers Ordabek and Ilyas, who are both violinists. By the age of thirteen she had made her debut with the Symphony Orchestra. After graduating from school, Dina continued her studies at the Kazakh National Academy of Music, graduating with distinction in 2005, before further studies in the USA and then at the Royal Academy of Music. She has won many major international competitions, participated in numerous international music festivals and played with many groups.
